The Green Onion seeds are ripe! Inspire your children to learn about seed production or become interested in growing their own seeds by showing them the seeds in their coats. After harvest I always keep a few of the plants in the ground, on purpose, to go to seed. When the coat opens up it becomes a beautiful blossom full of hundreds of little white flowers. Inside each flower is three black seeds. The children can gently shake them out of the coat, and plant. Or if they are allowed to stay in the garden they will reseed themselves like magic.
I have five children from ages 33 to 22. I have 8 grandchildren .I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and love the Book of Mormon. I have a degree in Psychology, and a Master's degree in Social Work and work with children to improve their behavior.
